I can highly recommend Judy Hall's The Crystal Bible, for people making jewellery for healing it gives you all the info you could need on different gemstones and their healing powers. She also has book called Crystal Prescriptions, you can look up any ailment and it gives a list of stone s that would be of help. I can make up crystal prescritions if anyone needs any.
Not specificly beads in this book, but very useful for healing and birthstone information. Its my most read book!

do you think it is suitable for beginners as well as more experienced ? Confused

I have The Crystal Bible too! It's a fab book, I use it all the time. It has a short introduction about how crystals are made and how to care for them etc, but the rest of the book is packed with info on each crystal. Nice pictures too and the index is great for finding a stone for your particular needs.

Like Alison, I highly recommend it! Very Happy

Hi Cathy, yep, its suitable for anyone, I bought it for my son when he was 10, he uses it, my daughter uses it (she's 10 now) it constantly getting looked at in the shop by customers. I must pick it up about 5 times every day! The Crystal Prescrition book isnt as suitable as it just gives you names of gemstones, not all the information for each stone. So go on....treat yourself, you wont regret it!

A wonderful book - I sell both the French & english versions. The English ones come with a set of stones too. I have found it invaluable!
