Hi guys

today I recieved my new tumble polisher, I have been debating for ages about whether to get one or not due to the cost but it go to the stage that it was proving too expensive not too.

It is purring away in the kitchen and I can't believe just how quiet it is. I knew I would find a good use for the plug in timers I bought from Ikea, have set one to 2 hours and don't have to keep checking the time he he.

Will post some of the newly polished pieces as soon as I can.

I am one happy bunny, just got to get all the other tools I really really need now!!!

Hi nemea

Mine was filled and working hard within 20 minutes of me getting the parcel, and I am sure it will be earning it's keep over the next few days as I have a craft fair on Saturday he he.

I got everything from Manchester Minerals, they are not the cheapest. I must admit I have phoned a few places that sold lapidary equipment and almost all of them seem to treating me as if I was a complete idiot. Unlike the lovely people at Manchester Minerals who stopped me from buying all the wrong things and kept me on the straight and narrow, their customer service was fantastic.

Kind regards
Alchast

Cant wait to see what comes out of the tumbler! Manchester Minerals are very helpful, aren't they? They are local to me, and I love to go and check out their tools!

Mary, switch it on!! You won't believe how brilliant it is!

Yes my deart Vim there will be more photos, including some of the stall I am running on Saturday, so watch this space. I even had my hair done specially today so I am even happier, tumbler and no grey hair yippee Very Happy

Lynne as you are far more experienced at this tumbling polishing lark than I am I may call you for some advise. Manchester Minerals rock big time, I will send them an email telling them just how pleased I am with their customer service, probably order some more tools while I'm at it.

kind regards

Thanks for the info!

I WANT to tumble and cut rings and satisfy all the weird and wonderful (jewellery) ideas I have in my head but I have no time. I tell you, this summer when I have more time I'm going wild! ROTFL
