Hey everyone, I hope you are all enjoynig your weekend?

My niece is making her 1st holy communion at the end of May and I wanted to make her present as I think it means so much more.

I was thinking about a cross and chain. First I thought I would give it a go with Sterling Silver and soldering it and then I remembered that I am not very good at silversmithing!!!!!

Then I thought about PMC. Does anyone have any suggestions how to do this with PMC? I was thinking about trying to find a cross shaped cutter but can't find anything that is suitable as they are quite chunky!!! I have seen some moulds but I think they look too fussy for an 8 year old (or is that that I am being too fussy Wink )!!!

Any suggestions / ideas greatfully received Daisy

Or you can get a nice range of cross moulds.

Thanks for the replies.

Carman, your cross is beautiful but I am looking for something very simple, a bit like the first mould in the first link.
