|
|
After much deliberation I've decided on a slightly unusual theme for this challenge: Spring has sprung.
Create a piece that features, springs, spirals coils & twists (all or just one it's totally up to you). Whether they feature as charms, wire worked shapes, beads, spacer bars, seed bead stitches or something else, I hope you find lots of scope in this challenge.
Your creation can be in any colour or materials but must be clearly connected to the challenge theme.
To enter all you need to do is post up a picture of your creation in this thread, and tell us of a little bit about your creation.
You can enter any bead, beaded or jewellery item. Don't forget that also covers/includes wire work, metal work, polymer clay, lampwork, accessories trinkets, and jewellery etc!
All you need to remember is that you can only enter one piece (or set) per challenge.
The closing date is the last day of May.

Flippin' 'eck, Michele, that was quick. Great pieces by the way. I've been itching to have a go with my copper for a few days now, think I'll have to put the seedies away today and have a play after seeing your pieces. _________________ Alison

I'm still trying to master the image posting thing so I hope this works:

OK: so as I understand it by posting the IMG code from Photobucket the piccies not the location should have appeared, but it's not working
so here are the links instead.

Here is my version of Spring is Sprung. I thought it might be fun to try to do something in beadwork rather than wire so I settled on a spiral rope with coiled fringes...not certain its worked but enjoyed playing with it!
