wow I am totally impressed with you, I was before but completely besotted now. What an amazing process, I never realised that each piece was handled five times, and the sequence of costing was really interesting.
Thankyouso much for taking the time to post that missus

What an absolutely brilliant article. Both Hubby and I loved it. We are both stained glassies and love the colour and texture of the glass available. I paid £200 last year for hubby some glass as a pressie. Some of the mirrored glass is too lovely to cut :-) We might just frame each sheet and put them up our staircase |

Thanks all! I'm glad you found the post interesting. I often take pics of my stuff as I'm going along with it and as the process was fresh in my mind I thought I'd explain it.
As a totally besotted stained glassy myself I can totally understand wanting to frame whole pieces! And what a lovely pressie! £200 of glass! I'm hoping I can get a kiln in August (DH said 'ok' so long as the roof is still intact, etc etc) then I can do proper stained glass
Thanks again for your kind words folks! _________________ Hedgelands Glass Gems: handmade jewellery and stained glass. Now select designs available on Etsy -
