Nice beads, some lovely colours going on there. Pity it doesn't give any information about the beadmaker(s) though. I really like to know a little about the person I buy beads from. Not that it happens often of course.... . But just knowing a little, even where they are based, gives me more of a connection. Or am I being too fussy?

Just wanted to say thank you for Cathy's kind words about my beads. My name is Wendy and I am one half of Creeky Beads! I have come to the conclusion that all beady people are really friendly! .... As for your thinking we are under priced..? I am a big believe in things are only worth what people are prepared to pay for them - I bet if I'd written it in Latin it would have sounded more profound! |

"underpriced" also means "bargain" especially when you cant metnion prices I should have given you more for mine- definately worth more!!
Anyway, having won some of your beads how could I not check out such a fabbily named website??

Hi Cathy
God I hope you don't think I was having a go at you..... I'm still at that stage with my beads that if anyone smiles at them I'm happy, if anyone offers me money for them ..... well......!!!
The name comes from where I live - opposite the creek of the river. We overlook river boats etc, and as the website says, it is full of inspiration.
My friend, Julie, who is the other half of Creeky Beads, is the maker of the beads which Claire bought last night (so she will be extremely chuffed).
Thanks for the welcome...
Love Wendy |
