Aircon??? did someboday say they had aircon?????
I think I had left before that came on. It does make you wonder how they could not have thought about it when people kept going out for fresh air and everyone had bright red faces.
Oh those silly peeps, perhaps they will get the cafe bit sorted out next year, perhaps ont he stage andt hen we can have a proper Uk beaders meet up and not in corners.

Sorry Cathy, did not meet you, didn't know you were there. Next year perhaps?

It was a bit warm in the venue, wasn't it?

We had a lovely day, loads of people stopped by, several new faces to put to names and plenty of old friends too. A bunch of Mike's beadmaking students also came by to show off some of their work, which is always a great pleasuer for Mike to see how well they've progressed. I had a chance in the afternoon for a chat with some of the other lampworkers there, including Sharon Reynolds and Alison Davies who are always a laugh and who both managed to make me part with some of Mike's hard-earned cash on their work.

It was nice to see everyone again, Nia and Ali aren't exactly twins but they could be related! Lynne stopped by and we had a great chat, I'm looking forward to the meeting at Stockport next month. I forgot to stop by for my biscuits, Sue! I could have used a few to keep my strength up.

All in all, as usual, a lot of fun which is why we enjoy the Nantwich show.

Next show for us is Newcastle, we're heading north this time!

Just got here after a hectic day yesterday. I was cream crackered last night (can't stand the pace ya know)!

I had a great time too. I met lots of forum peeps and it's so nice to put names and faces together. Had a good beady gossip with everyone including a long chat with Dragonfly Lynne, who I immediatly recognised from her description of herself.

Thanks to all who gave me such nice comments on my beads and to a those who bought some of them. It's really nice to get positive feedback.

Looking forward to meeting eveyone again at Haydock in August now.

Jeanette

Hi All
Had a great day at Nantwich and spent double my budget! Mind you when I got home and confessed to OH he didn't really moan especially when he saw what I bought. Even he could appreciate that they were lovely (mind you I timed my revelation to coincide with something he was listening to about Formula One so I suspect it might have the stock response I was getting)

I managed to speak to a few of you but we really need a better way or recognising ourselves - we'll have to have a badge. I've just got back to discover I was chatting to Dobeadoo or Mr Dobeadoo and didn't know - so missed the biscuits! (I was the one with the list who bought watch faces she never came for)

I also bought from Jeanette and didn't make the connection with the forum so I never "revealed myself" So here's an official Hi Jeanette- I was the one you recommended Palmers metals and we discussed making the move "up" to using lampies and more expensive findings. (I now know where the village from Hell is though - that's been driving me mad for ages). On the downside it's so close to me and my friend lives there so now I've seen Jeanettes goodies it's bad for my purse.

I got to meet Lynn and hubby and now I'm even more excited about my course in July as they were so nice. Mind you when I left Lynn hadn't bought a thing so I hope that was remedied?

Peter you were surrounded by ladies so never got a look in! Glad to see you were so popular.

Bluebottle - I'm drooling over my beads and don't want to part them and they're now sitting in my "safe" with some new beads from Mike (Hi Sue) which at least I confessed this time were going to be for me instead of pretending they were a business purchase.

Despite that I still seemed to miss lots of you, or didn't make the connection between our forum names and businesses - so maybe next time.

I've decided I'm going to play with all my goodies today so I might even have to stay off the forum to get things done!

Hope all of you that were selling had as good a day as us buyers.

Hello Jill from yesterday. I never made the connection either, but it was nice meeting and chatting to you. I'm sorry I got you wondering where the village from hell is, but you know now (and it really is).

See you soon.

Jeanette

it was absolutely brilliant to meet you all finally, and again in some instances.

i am absolutely shattered but had a smashing day.

I think i may have been bitten by the Beadsage kit bug though and i think i may have to try the gorgeous kits that Peter has...

I was shattered too, but I've had a nice lazy morning to recover.

And it was good to meet so many of you, some I already knew and some I met for the first time.

And did they switch on the air con without me noticing? It was all nice and cool upstairs, but downstairs seemed to stay very warm.

I passed on the choccie biscuits too...we were too full with homemade fruit cake from Peter's wife. Very Happy

Celia

We didn't plan the pub, honestly Amy! LOL! Wink

And thanks to everyone for a smashing day, and for Caroline putting up with my "it's too hot in here" whinging. LOL! Very Happy I bought a lovely little silver core from Anna and some glass from Martin, so overall I thought I was pretty well behaved - budget-wise anyway. ROTFL

And yes, I will be stalking Peter too til he's finished that gorgeous green and brown necklace kit that was lurking on his table. Very Happy Beautiful!

I hope zeb and the nun are behaving Julie? Very Happy

Sorry I missed you Helen.
It was lovely to see Anna and Julie again, beautiful displays and beads ladies.
Also met Lynne-(pleased to meet you, i'll be in touch soon) but missed bumping into you Nia.
Must say it was very hot there especially downstairs. and with one very fed up teenager and one wanting to spend more than she earns!!! it was rather a whirlwind for me. Altogether a lovely event though with plenty to spend our hard earned cash on Very Happy
