I want to have a go at taking my sons' fingerprints tomorrow but I've not been able to get hold of any Badger balm locally. is there anything that I can use instead? Thanks. |

I tried a fairly big Boots today and they didn't have any. I'll try my local one tomorrow but I don't think I've seen it there before. Chemist is worth a shot though. Thanks. |

Thought you could use olive oil as a substitute...(haven't tried it yet).
Anyone else know?

Boots usually have it in the sections where the natural remedies and things are, not with the lip balms etc.
You can use olive oil as a substitute, but using it sparingly and it does create a bit of a slick on your clay which can make is horrid to work with!!

Thanks,. I'll try the natural remedies section tomorrow and keep my fingers crossed. i wasn't sure about olive oil. I couldn't remember if you could use it or not. Might have to give it a shot if all else fails. |
