With the announcement of the wonderful prizes now on offer I thought I'd take the opportunity to update all the info you need to know about joining in our group challenges.

All the group challenges are open to all our forum members who have been registered for at least 1 month and have gained their beginner beader “bead” (gained once you have made 10 posts in the forum).

To give people a bit of a choice over what challenges they might like to join in with the challenges will be announced monthly, but will be rolling so that there are always 2 running at any one time. This means each challenge will be running for 2 months, and you will have until the last day off the month to post up your entry.

To keep things clear they will be marked, June - July Challenge, July - August Challenge, and so on (including the theme in the title).

Just make your piece following the challenge rules/theme (which will be clearly detailed in the thread), and when you're done post a picture and a description for us in the relevant thread.

Your are allowed one entry per challenge, this may be a set (unless the rules for a specific challenge state otherwise).

At the end of the challenge entry period I will copy all the pictures into one thread. We will all then have 1 week to vote for our favourite piece. The voting will be done in private - to vote just send me a Private Message or email. Put VOTE as the subject and the name of the person you are voting for as the message.

At the end of voting week I will announce the winner.

If you win, your piece (with your permission) will be featured on the main UK Beaders site on the Artist of the month page. You will be able to add a bit of info about yourself and your creation, and a link to your own website if you’d like to, (yay, free advertising).

Prizes will strictly be limited to 1 per member within a 6 month period. So that means that you are free to enter every challenge if you would like to, but if you win more than once in 6 months the runner up on that occasion will receive the prize.

We reserve the right to change or remove the prizes at any time without notice.

The sponsors reserve the right to decline to send prizes outside of the UK.
