I've just seen a post in swaps that mentions oval mandrels for jumprings. A joiners pencil is perfect and costs pennies at a hardware or DIY store, they are quite big and perfect for charm bracelets

ooh what a fab tip - think I shall have to nick one off my dad (he's a joiner), though I must admit I would love to find something(s) oval for smaller rings too, just thought some nails are oval
