sorry to be such a section hog at the moment! I can see improvements in my technique (not necessarily making the beads useful) - the lot that are in the oven now are better still so I think the trick is handle as little as possible after its been conditioned.

Knotted Raku (hope this gives a better idea - it is still a mad construction though)

New beads - only two sets - Peacock Eye beads (rocks friends!) and Black tabs with blue foil and torquoise powder (photo won't show the colour too well though)

Daisy The greens and blues are positively glowing!

Did you use the metallic plastic backed foils that have to be rubbed onto the clay - I think Emma sells some? It's a fab effect!

The green has been dusted with interference green powder - I think a darker green would work better. The blue eye is made with foil, cutting a divot out and putting it in the green and then adding to the base bead.
