Can anyone describe this please. Thinking of doing a short course but not sure what this is. Also is this the best way to learn lampwork?

I think this is the Japanese style.
They use different torches that point upwards (which I think are called volcano torches).
It all looks very odd if you ask me, but when you see the japanese lampwork beads, they obviously get the results they need!
Japanese beads seem to be more murrine design based as I don't think you can easily do stringer work with the volcano torches
