Have you considered using a colour wheel, you can go similar colourway or complementary, depends on the effect you want Daisy

What colours are the O J flat drops - are they grey-green and mottled creamy colors? Depending on the shades, I would probably try Erinite, or Smokey Quartz , Khaki, Black Diamond AB, Shadow Crystal.....I bought a Swarovski shade card ( with the actual beads on the card)on ebay for about £6 and find it invaluable for matching. Now, I make my own cards and whenever I buy any colours not on the original card I add them to my own cards so I always have a visual reference I can actually hold beside the beads... Carmie Daisy

Hi Carmie

The drops are as you say grey-green ans mottle creamy colours. Your sugestion about a shade card sounds great, I didnt realise you could get them. Im gonna look on ebay to see if I can find one.

Thanks alot for your help Carmie it is much appreciated.

I have looked on ebay and can't find any - can't remember who I bought it from as it was quite a long time ago. There are lots of Swarovski shade charts available to view online, but I find there's nothing like having the real thing in front of you. Oher colours I thought of are Morion and Green Turmaline if you want colours to tone. Have you looked at a colour wheel , as suggested by Vim? Very useful if you want colours to contrast etc. Good luck - looking forward to seeing the results. Carmie Fingers crossed

That's a great tip Carmie. Someone mentioned Khaki and that sounds about right for ocean jasper. It's an amazing stone.

I quite like Crystal Copper swaros with greeny gemstones - there are some lovely copper beadcaps and clasps around too Heart
or what about complementing the creamy colours with one of the 'warm' unobtrusive neutral swaro shades like silk or golden shadow? Then you get the sparkle but without overpowering the colours in the stone Rainbow
Feel free to ignore me though, there are lots of stringing/gemstone experts on here but I sure ain't one of 'em! Daisy
