is the bead making production studio for BeadedLily.com and its' Florence, Italy retail location. We are now offering beginning beadmaking classes. Our teaching facilities are located within the shared Artists' Workshop in the Oltrarno section of Florence. The Artists' Workshop is made up of a group of friends and artists who share a passion for learning that leads to both personal and communal growth. Sharing workshop space as well as ideas, creative energy, technological resources, etc., we hope to build community while facilitating learning and creativity in a comfortable, stimulating environment. If you have a moment please do pay us a visit. Of course, if you have more than a moment and are planning on visiting Florence and are interested in taking a beginning beadmaking course, please consider working with us - we would love to meet you!

Thanks you two - We are very excited! I've already started working with my first student and we are both pleased with how things are going. My next big hurdle comes a week from Monday when I begin work with my first Italian student. Teaching beadmaking in Italian in Florence, Italy is not something this Nebraska boy ever imagined!

Just a quick note: We plan on incorporating guest instructors into our program. Guest instructors would allow for a wider range of available courses and our goal at the Artists' Workshop is to be as all-inclusive as possible.

*Update* Hello again! We've had a terrific response to our bead making classes, both locally and from visitors. I wanted to post again here at UK beaders because one of our recent students was from Cambridge and found it cheaper to take a class from us here in Italy than to go to London for a class!! Obviously you have the currency advantage and by flying Ryan Air and choosing wisely on where to stay, (We can help there) her trip was amazingly economical! (And because UK and especially London prices sound unbelievable!!)
