Sticking with the theme of poles I heard a wonderfully embarrassing story on the radio yesterday: A woman wearing a skirt was standing with her legs slightly apart whilst looking at the train timetable at a major London terminus when a blind man with a white stick tapped his way forward. In a freaky moment he (unaware of her presence) managed to insert his white stick between her legs and walked into her back tapping all the way. Luckily, both parties saw the funny side of the incident. What are the odds of that happening?
