Hiya all

Since my love of seed bead is growing more each day, i fancy making an amulet bag/pouch/necklace. What i want to know is what is the best way to start/join one? Do i start it top to bottom then just stitch up the two sides, or is it best to go sideways then fold in half and just have one side to zip up and a bottom to close? (does that make any sense?)

Ive looked for tuts but its mainly patterns ive seen, not how to's, what is the best way to do it?

Depends on the stitch you use... I like right angle weave and usually make it as a big wide tube then just stitch the bottom together. For peyote ones you can make them flat and then zip up into a tube and stitch the bottom together, or you can make them tubular, flatten the tube and stitch the bottom.
Did that help at all? Very Happy
