Hello all,

I guess stickies aren't supposed to be replied to as I don't see that anyone else has replied to KK's post of a few days ago. Learn something new everyday! So I am copying my reply to her announcement here to see what the group thinks about this as well. If anyone else can fix up this post so it's proper and makes sense - go right ahead please. Thxs Very Happy

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You may remember that ALL THAT JAZZ offered to sponsoring the UK Beaders challenges for 12 months, (origional announcement here) all the way back in 2006 and I am sure we are all hugely appreciative of the fact that they have donated such generous prizes for much longer than this.

It is with much regret (due to the current economic climate being so hard on small businesses) that the winner of the May June challenge will be the last to receive their prize with art and all that jazz crafts.

I personally will donate gifts (probably of a beady or chocolaty nature) to the winners of the UK Beaders artist of the month challenges for the next 6 months after this.

If you are interested in sponsoring the UK Beaders Artist of the month challenges with any form of prize please I would love to hear from you and can provide you with any information you need.

I would like to take this opportunity to say a huge THANKS on behalf of all our members, to Rob and Lorna of all that jazz crafts.

Hi Lucy!

I am quite happy to send a decent prize to you for the winner of one month to start with. I have some beautiful challenge kits that I haven't used yet - I am a bit of an impulse buyer. See

if you are interested in what I'm talking about for a challenge kit. See the gallery of what customers have done with them.

I'm sure you will have no problem finding donations and if everyone does that it will not be any hardship on any one individual. We could have prizes set aside until the cows come home!

Ok hun I too will offer a small prize of 3 dozen crystal bicone chatons in either a mix of colours and sizes or all one colour and size to the winner of one of the challenges. Please note though that the crystals are not drilled.
Is someone collecting the prizes for posting to the winner or do I send it directly to the winner
(I will enclose a stamped envelope so no cost to the organiser) Let me know who to send it to

Hi everyone.

You can reply on stickies and announcements too (at least you should be able to).

Thank you to the people who have offered to donate prizes individually it's very kind, but at the moment not necessary as I have already had a couple of very generous sponsorship offers.

I will be updating you all in about a weeks time or so one they are confirmed.

Daisy

If any individuals would like to offer prizes for other challenges or other ideas you can do so on the

you can start your own challenges etc, if you want to you can always run them past me first.

If you are a bead shop owner, or a lampworker or feel you could offer prizes as a sponsor for a few months (no minimum or maximum required) then please do feel free to get in touch still.

As you know UK Beaders is a non profit site/group, and I don't gain from this, but I know the members who have won these challenge prizes in the past have all been delighted, so it's a wonderful thing that you can do for our members.

As always there is no need to feel that you must, I know that a lot of members would still enter every month no matter if there is the chance of winning a prize or not.

Thank you all.
