where do i get the bracelet to make a troll bracelet? Would a snake chain bracelet be strong enough, or is the chain used for troll bracelets thicker?

Yes it's quite a thick chain but it helps the beads to sit nicely without rattling about too much |

Go to findings, then chains, then bracelets. _________________ ...the spirit of an elf and the lifestyle of a hobbit

I think they are simply different companies. _________________ Hilary

There are also Biagi, crysalis and Chamilia makes which are basically the same. Some may be slightly different size holes though.

Hi Caroline, I'd love to see a photo of your bracelet - which weave is it ? _________________ Karen

I think that looks wonderful, I would never have thought about making a chain for the troll beads (I've been lusting after a chain and beads ever since I first saw them). _________________ Karen

I've just put some bracelets on the site under 'new additions'.
To me, it seems Pandora bracelets look more like snake chains. Some have a couple of sections which allow you to put a bead which has an internal screw thead on. This helps prevent all the beads sliding around.
The Troll bracelets look more like a feather style interlocking chain, are usually oxidised. Both are about 3mm diameter
Getting the length you need is the tricky thing, because the more beads you add the longer it needs to be to allow for their thickness.
So there can be an advantage if you can make one.
Debbie

They seem to have lots of these chains here:

Haven't used them, but there seems to be a good selection . . .
