my new books came today, had a look through the linda peterson book and there's some great new projects in there to try, would like to buy a book especially for making canes next if anyone can recommend one.

Donna Kato's new book is on canemaking. Should be fantastic. It isn't out yet though, but I think you can pre-order it on amazon.

Really?

Mind you, it isnt that long since her second book came out, so maybe she is trying to maximise sales on that one first before pushing the next one. Makes sense.

I'll be buying her cane book as soon as it's available too. Mr. Green

There is another book about it too. Quite a thin and basic one, but not bad. I've referred to it on more than one occasion.

It's called: Creative Canes - 30+ Cane Techniques with Polymer Clay by Barbara McGuire.
