I mean a thin strand of something woth beads crimped on- for tree/room decoration....what would you use for the strand? I was thinking coloured tigertail but am worried about kinking...then I thing a thread type wouldn't have the rigidity I want
any ideas?

We made some years ago with tiger tail, and they're still fine...no kinking at all.
If you're worried about it, you could use 19 or 49 strand.
