I've started making this pendant and I intend to hang it on the satin edged organza ribbon that I'm trying to get. I want to hang something from the bottom of the stone but no products for the ideas that I had seem to exist. It will all be sterling silver.

Sorry I am no help at all. I just wanted to say what a stunning stone. I think I wish to confess that the drool on it is mine. :-)

What about a few lengths of very fine chain forming a sort of tassel?

I like that I idea - have got some silver chain which is quite fine. How long do you reckon I should make the lengths of chain? (don't really want to chop up bits and then decide it doesn't look right).

I'm fuddling my brains here, and damned if I can think of anything better than the chain idea.

I shouldn't think you'd need them longer than an inch or so. How long is the focal? If the chains were a similar length, they would balance beautifully. Daisy

I didn't wait long for a reply before cutting the chain (so impatient Embarassed ). I've cut them exactly the same length as the pendant which is an inch and a half. Just need a freshwater pearl to finish it off perfectly.

Maybe you could make something for the bottom of it from Art Clay Silver?

That way you could create your own perfect embellishment. Small items like that can be fired by hand or just on a gas stove too, so very easy to make.

I agree with everyone else, it is a beautiful stone. I think you are right though, a little something dangling from below would really set it off beautifully.
