I've been looking at pricing up extractor fans for lampworking, but there's a hugh range of them. So what make do you recommend using, what capacity and any suppliers you could suggest? The idea would be that it is set up in our garage.

Thanks,

Hey, another convert? Very Happy

I have the largest bathroom-type extractor that they had in Focus, mounted into the window in my porch. I really noticed it working the other day - I had a friend over and I was sat at the side of the bench, watching her make a bead when I noticed that I could really see smoke or fumes or something rising above the flame - then I realised I'd forgotten to switch the extractor on!

Thanks that really helps. Obviously I don't have to spend a fortune on an industrial type extractor fan (thank goodness as they were really expensive!).

I'm not a convert yet as it's still easier buying them from you brilliant artists Very Happy and once I've worked out the costs it may not be financially viable to give up any of my day job to pursue this Sad other than as a hobbie! I need to work on those figures though - uuugh.
