wow, you're all in a different league - I squint even to work with 11s and wonder if I shouldn't have another try at bifocals.

Most of the time I'm happy with cubes or 8s but I'm tempted by Jean Power's geometric class so I'm persevering with delicas for that.

24s? I admire you for it, but for me they're in the category of "it's a good job we don't all go for the same thing as the queue would be too long Very Happy "

Hope you get plenty of rest for your eyes the rest of the time

I bought some size 15 seed beads recently, but when I got them out and had a proper look at them they actually looked like cylinder beads- which was a bit of a surprise because I haven't even seen 15/0 cylinder beads online in UK shops, never mind getting them in a real shop that you can walk into.

But anyway, after working with those for a while when I went back up to the size 11s they were absolutely huge in comparison! I expect after working with size 24 beads you'd think a regular size 15 seed bead was gigantic.

There is something very satisfying about working in miniature, I find- if only to see people's expressions when they see them. I delighted in making origami cranes from half-inch squares of paper because of that.

I bought loads of tubes of what were supposed to be size 15 but have found them to be tiny very tiny and good grief I can barely see those. It really does make size 11 look massive. Lovely to work with though and the detail that can go into a piece is amazing. I bought the Bead Creator Pro software for my computer and love it.
