No, the caterpillar and rose aren't together... I think when that happens it results in a grumpy gardener
I'm not very good at showing pictures of my work, but Celia of Jencel told me to. So I am!
The first one is the caterpillar- I call it the extraterrestrial caterpillar since it doesn't look like anything on Earth. It's a project in Mastering Beadwork by Carol Huber Cypher though I changed it a bit because I wanted the round glass beads to sit more closely to the bracelet and not flop around.
It looks more like a caterpillar when it's upside down:
At this point I should say that I need more practice at photography, and that I don't have a tripod, which means I take lots of blurry photos. I think about 20% of my shots come out in focus!
The rose bracelet is one that I made up as I went along though I had the basic idea there- I added in the little pink flowers in the peyote stitch randomly because making a pattern and then following it would take up valuable beading time

And then I put the ruffles on the edges because I

peyote ruffles and spirals.

Now, if you looked at that photo and thought "what was daisybell thinking when she put the rose and the leaf on like that?" But there was a clever plan! And it worked... I think.
Modeled by my own fair hand
which was quite difficult actually since then I only had one hand to hold the camera. There are two other pictures Only registered users can see links on this forum! Register or Login on forum! |

which might be clearer.
