Emma,

They are just so fab. I like it You are so talented.

Are you sure they're just to scare the birds away? I'd certainly run a mile if I met one and it talked! They'd be a good deterrant to trespassers too. My brother had a mini talking dalek in the 80s and we used to point it out of the letter box at the trick or treaters at haloween. A sure and fast way to keep all the sweets to ourselves!

Have you ever thought about trying to make a glassy one? Or would this be near-impossible?

All the best

Sam Heart

Been there done that Very Happy Wow there's a blast from the past. Hmmm can't remember who bought it now??? It must have been at least 3 years ago if not more. I think it was another bead maker who bought it???
I'll see if I still have a photo.
Em

Obviously nothing is impossible for you. That is just so fabby too Wow The sink plunger bit looks particularly tricky to do (says she who still hasn't even mastered the art of the round bead yet.Brick wall)

What's the wierdest/wackiest thing you've made out of glass then? - although I have to admit, that dalek is pretty wacky in a very cool way Thumbs up

All the best

I think the wierdest request was a bear holding a love heart, wearing robin hoods hat, sat in a frying pan. I no longer ask why, I just do Very Happy
