I found a tutorial for a knitted bead cuff in the Spring Knitty newsletter. It is a bit different as it is knitted with pre-threaded beads on elastic. Think I will give this a go sometime. The link is here:

i like that...i have been wondering how to get knitting into beading( or vica versa)...i am currently knitting a complicated celtic knot of my own design( why didnt i make it simpler?) but i might have a go when i am done
