hi,

I wonder if anyone can help? Need to make up some brooches, and was wondering what the right glue was to use. I want to stick semi precious beads to a brooch pin

Thanks schoolhog

My choice would be a two-part epoxy adhesive, such as Araldite. It has the strength and flexibility to hold heavy items and adheres well to metals.

Make sure you rough up both surfaces to be glued with some sandpaper first and wipe down with meths. That will provide a good clean key for the glue.
