DeeAnn, Imerviglio and Oia are great places to stay in Santorini if it's just the 2 of you, if like me you have children in tow Kamari's much better, we had a fantastic vire of the mountain from our Hotel room and my dads hotel had a fantastic sea view

OIA is where I've stayed and it's stunning. I think it's got the most amazing views of the Kaldera and it's more quiet than Fira ( well it was all those years ago).

Funny thing is, what I would find inspirational is a day like this. I love the grey colours of a rainy day.

we have grey skies most of the time, i hate it, the weather just seems to do nothing up here, i love some sun shine or really heavy rain, i'm just sick of it being the same day in day out
