..with the very talented Sally Carver of RedHotSal last week and I think I am well and truly hooked !
Didn't think I would enjoy it so much or be any good at it Wink
Now I can't wait to get my garden shed back up (moving it closer to the house so I can power in there) and buy some equipment so I can get some practice in !!!
Ooooooh I can't wait - its so exciting !!!!
Very Happy

Sounds like you had a great time.

I'd love to have a go at lampworking but hubby says NO.... I spend enough time & money on beads as it is apparently Shocked

Ooo I have emailed Sally and look forward to her response. It's good to hear recommendations about artists as I am new to all this. I just liked her beads and saw she was localish to me.

I'm sure you'll have a great day with Sally, she is really lovely and she teaches on a 1 to 1 basis so you learn a lot of stuff.

I also just had a lesson with Sally at the beginning of December and am hooked. The day with Sally was fab and luckily Santa bought me the beginners set from Martin Tuffnell and now I'm just trying to get everything set up so I can get started.

Very Happy

Welcome to the dark side. It's very difficult not to get hooked once you've had a taster of lampworking Very Happy
