Due to circumstances outside my control, many members may now find that they are not receiving email reminders to alert them that they have received a new PM or that a that a topic they are watching has had new replies.

Email providers affected are AOL, & Tiscali.

Sadly there is no work around available at this time (I will let you know as soon as I have any updates), but please consider:

sending an email rather than a PM if the member you want to contact has the "email" button at the bottom of their posts:


you may try changing the email address on your profile to a different email provider if you notice you have not received reminders.

rather than clicking on watch topics, just check back regularly, and by clicking on "View posts since last visit" you can check if the topic has any new replies.

I thought I was missing something! (heaven forbid )

Hopefully the problem with hotmail addresses will be rectified soon, as hotmail have made changes recently, and may still revise their filtering procedures.

I am also reliably informed that yahoo accounts are unaffected if that's any help to anyone!

Fantastic news - hotmail have now updated their filters/settings, so you can now use your hotmail addresses and all emails from the forum will get to you!

(sorry tiscali & AOL users but yours still wont).

Sorry ladies and gentlemen, but it seems hotmail are still playing around with their settings, and once again, our forums are NOT getting through., so all my previous posts/answers/advice still stand (sadly).

Hi everyone, over the last day or 2 I have noticed that some email notifications (to various providers) aren't getting through.
